The French Room is decorated in the cheerful colors of Provence and overlooks the front lawn. Since it was originally built as the family’s guest room, it was furnished with a marble sink which still remains. It is the largest of our guest rooms and it doubled as a ballroom for the original family, a not uncommon arrangement for large houses of the period. It has two sleigh beds, one queen-sized and one twin. With room enough for a third bed and a couple of cribs, this large room nicely accommodates a family. The large private bath has an antique claw foot tub and a separate shower. There is WiFi, TV for movies, and a CD player/alarm clock.
