A weekend of literary-inspired activities begins with a talk on a Friday evening on Regency fashion by Hope Greenberg who has lots of beautiful of pictures and some hands-on clothing to share. On Saturday there is quill-pen letter writing, an optional carriage ride, afternoon tea, and a Regency dinner party with English country dancing which comes with all the instruction you might need. There will be time for a book discussion of Emma as well as optional sewing workshops. During brunch on Sunday there is a chance to win a prize with a quiz on the novel. Stay for the weekend or attend individual activities. Weekend rates are $445.00 single, $415.00 per person double, or $395.00 triple and include two nights’ lodging, all meals and all non-optional activities. Advance reservations are required.
