The Lamoille Valley Players present the delightful musical Damn Yankees at the Hyde Park Opera House. This light, fast-paced show proves “You Gotta Have Heart” as a baseball fan sells his soul to the devil to become a great player and lead his team over those “damn Yankees”! Arrive before the crowds, relax with theater tea at the Governor’s House, then walk right across the street just in time for the start of the show. It’s a cup of home-made soup plus full afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and jam, and sweets for $27.50. Advance reservations required.
