The newly-formed Vermont Apple Pie Literary and Travel Society is holding its first series of dinners at the Governor’s House in Hyde Park. The topic is Guernsey under the Occupation during WWII and what that meant to everyday life on the island. A list of related titles will be provided and we look forward to your participation in lively discussion over dinner. $50.00 per person plus tax. Discounted room rate for anyone wishing to stay Saturday night or for the weekend. Attendance at one dinner/discussion is all that is required to be eligible to travel with the society to Guernsey in spring 2014. Please see the Facebook Page for more information.
